The Application Consists of Three Modules: Exercise Daily, Free, Medal.
Institutional Program of Scientific Initiation Scholarships (PIBIC) held at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) in the Computer Science Course aimed at the elaboration of a game for mobile devices (Android) and presenting as a strategy the review of POSCOMP issues. Poscomp is an organized exam annually by the Brazilian Computing Society with the objective of testing the knowledge in computing of candidates for postgraduate programs in the area. Institutions that offer vacancies use the test result in the most diverse ways in their selection processes.
Three skills are evaluated: Mathematics, Fundamentals of Computing and Computer Technology, distributed in seventy multiple choice questions. The subjects covered in general are part of the curriculum of computer courses of the main universities and colleges of Brazil.
It is from the model of POSCOMP skills that a prototype of educational game has been designed, providing simulations for students when performing the Poscomp exam.
The original idea was to create a mobile game of educational nature for students graduating from computer science courses who want to prepare for the POSCOMP exam.
In medal mode, the system user will have to challenge the machine in order to promote creative teaching and assist students to reach the highest level of hit possible. This module is first divided into three sub -modules, in which the modules are based on the division of areas explored by POSCOMP, they are:
1. Mathematics
2. Fundamentals of computing
3. Computer technology
In each area there are three other submodels that defined the obstacles in which the user will have to exceed to win the machine, they are:
1. Bronze, where the user has a certain time in minutes to answer ten questions in order to reach ninety percent of the questions.
2. Silver, where the user has a certain time in minutes shorter than the previous sub module, but maintaining the same level of hits percentage.
3. Gold, in which the user has a determined time in minutes reduced in half of the proposed in the first subsidy and also requiring user to be perfect, ie reaching one hundred percent of hit.
The free module, on the other hand, is intended to release the user to a greater range of questions, respecting the modules according to POSCOMP, ie indefinite number of questions, where at the end user will have the static of their performance in the module.
