FUNCTIONS and FEATURES
Timetable information
Simply select your destination stop for your bus and train connection and the app will display the departure or arrival time directly.
Are you leaving at a different stop or planning a trip on another day? The quick entry from the search history and the favorites quickly show you the right connection.
Do you only use buses, trams, subways and no regional trains? Then select your preferred means of transport in the settings and the information will adapt to your wishes.
Do you want to go to Cologne, Aachen or Münster? The VRR app also shows you all connections to neighboring networks. And that's not all: Long-distance transport connections can also be accessed via the VRR app.
If there is a delay, it will be displayed in real time and you will be suggested alternative connections. You can also find all important traffic reports in the reports section.
Ticket purchase
With the VRR app you can buy your online bus and train ticket directly. Register once and you can purchase tickets with just one click. Choose how you want to pay: with credit card, via PayPal, direct debit or prepaid.

Do you often leave from a certain stop? Then the departure monitor is the ideal solution for you. It will show you the next departure times. The notice board timetable for your cell phone.
Favorites
For your regular connections, you can save your most important connections, start and destination stops as favorites. This way you can start your search for the right connection even faster.
Bicycle routing (NEW)
By bike to the stop or from the stop to the destination? The app shows you how best to combine the bike with the bus or train.

THE VRR AREA
The VRR app applies to the local public transport timetable in the Rhine-Ruhr transport association. The VRR extends from the Ruhr area to the Lower Rhine, over parts of the Bergisches Land and the North Rhine-Westphalian state capital Düsseldorf.
VRR NEIGHBORS
Of course, the VRR app also shows you connections to neighboring transport associations. The VRR borders in the north on the Münsterland Transport Association (VGM), in the east on the Ruhr-Lippe Transport Association (VRL), in the south on the Rhein-Sieg Transport Association (VRS) and the Aachener Verkehrsverbund (AVV) and in the west on the Netherlands.
