Official App for the European Night of Researchers Aquila.
The European Researchers' Night takes place every year across Europe and neighboring countries on the last Friday of September. In 2019 the events will take place simultaneously on September 27th in more than 250 cities.
The objective is to create meeting opportunities between researchers and citizens to spread scientific culture and knowledge of research professions in an informal and stimulating context. Events include live scientific experiments and demonstrations, exhibitions and guided tours, conferences and seminars, shows, concerts and artistic performances.
The “AQ Researchers' Night” is the mobile application developed for the European Researchers' Night in L'Aquila. Co-presents both UNIVAQ Street Science and SHARPER events. It allows you to view, filter, select, share, and geo-locate more than 100 events that will be held simultaneously in L'Aquila on 21-27 September 2019.
The application offers four main services:
* Personalized Event Management: the application informs participants about all UnivAq Street Science and SHARPER events. It is possible to create a list of favorites, find out which events are underway, and carry out specific searches based on location, time, categories and name of the event.
* Social: it will be possible to share events on the major social networks, associate a Like with events, and vote for your favorite researcher.
* Notifications and Maps: news on events and alerts of a general and civil protection nature will also be managed. There will also be a "take me to the event" service that will allow you to reach the events of interest.
The services made available by the app are:
- list and description of events, with information on times, places and categories;
- news and alerts for each event;
- geo-referenced map with “take me to the event” service;
- social sharing and likes.
We hope you have a wonderful day in L'Aquila, and that our application helps you make the Researchers' Night in the city of L'Aquila a special event.
