Mobile application Najdi.si map is a modern interactive services
The mobile application Najdi.si Zemljevid is a free, modern interactive service that allows you to search by geographical terms in Slovenia (towns, streets), by organizations (companies, associations, public administration, etc.) and by points of interest (cultural attractions, parking lots, ATMs, ....). The application also helps you with your orientation, as you can display your current location on the map. If location is turned on, search results are sorted by distance from your current location.
The application is easy to use and fast, it is characterized by high search accuracy and the quality and up-to-dateness of geographic and business information. It is the fastest way to find the nearest or the best-rated company in Slovenia (e.g. pizzeria center Ljubljana). In the menu, you can choose from additional functionality of the application, such as the "Traffic" layer, "Pathfinder", map view (normal/satellite) and "Clear", which returns the application to its initial state.
Via a wireless Internet connection, data is available to you anytime and anywhere - on the go, at home, at work and on vacation.
The application allows:
● Quick search for providers in the most popular activities
Tapping on the search field displays icons for searching for individual activities without entering search queries.
● Rich description of companies and organizations
Companies and organizations are presented with basic data (name, address, working hours, description, activities), pictures, comments and visitor ratings. You can also submit comments, ratings and pictures yourself.
● Display of traffic information
The "Traffic" layer transmits up-to-date data on traffic information such as traffic jams, road works, closures, traffic accidents and saves time that would otherwise be spent waiting in queues and looking for detours.
● Normal or satellite view
You can view the map in classic or satellite view with roads and placemarks for easier orientation.
● Display of information about city passenger transport and bicycle stops
On the map, the last four zooms show the city passenger bus stations for the cities of Ljubljana and Maribor and the stops of the BicikeLJ network. At city passenger transport stops, the bus lines that run at each stop are also displayed on the stop card. City passenger transport stops and BicikeLJ rentals can also be found using a general search. The last four app zooms also show parking lots.
● Wayfinding
You can also search for a route between two points in Slovenia. In the application menu, select the "Search route" button, and when entering the start and end location (town, address, company name), the "Find route" button displays the length of the route and the travel time, as well as a graphic display of the route on the map (blue line leading from start to end location of the planned route). A detailed description of the planned route is available, which is displayed by touching the "list" button. The route can be planned for driving or walking.
