Application 'Augmented Reality' Goresan Juang Kemerdekaan
In the exhibition of the Presidential Palace art titled "17/71: Goresan Juang Kemerdekaan " visitors will be treated to added reality technology or in English known as AR (Augmented Reality).
This technology allows virtual objects to be added or projected into the real world to enrich information that was previously invisible. In this case, the paintings of Indonesian art maestro which on display will interact with 3-dimensional animations that tell the story behind each of these paintings.
Visitors can feel the direct interaction between this virtual object and the real world using an Android-based mobile phone device. The trick is to run an application titled Goresan Juang Kemerdekaan made by the Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf)
When this application is run, visitors just need to direct the cell phone camera at the painting and they will see information in the form of the name of the painter, the characters in the painting, and the background of the story in the form of multimedia animation that is easily understood. In fact there are some small games that can be played that make information more interesting, especially for young people who are familiar with technology in everyday life.
The palace painting art exhibition will be held at the National Gallery, Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur, Central Jakarta from 2 to 30 August 2016. But for those who have not had time to come to the exhibition site, they can still try this application from anywhere, even with more features limited.
