The legitimate funk carioca
From the 1980s, funk in Rio was influenced by a new rhythm of Florida, Miami Bass, which featured more eroticized and faster beats.
Since 1989, when the balls began to attract more and more people, the songs were released in Portuguese. The letters represented the daily life of visitors: approached the violence and poverty of the favelas. He is a singer and ostentation songwriter of Funk Brasil Eiro. Mc Gui's career came from a joke. At the age of 10, along with his brother Bill had his fun creating funk lyrics, and that's when his father decides to invest in a career as a musician for MC Gui. The singer Bantam gained recognition after releasing the song "She Wants" and was sales in 2013 already high with about 50 shows a month.
