Radio Euclides da Cunha FM 91.1 MHz Radio That Makes You Well!
Radio Euclides da Cunha FM was created on December 8, 1990, filling the empty space of broadcasters in FM in the municipality, at the same time, providing a communication channel between the various segments of society. Founded by a group of ten partners, the 91.1 broadcaster, which pioneered the city, always sought to do serious work continuously aiming at the satisfaction of its listeners, which daily accompanies its programming grid. Over these years, the station has received several awards for its differentiated line of work.
The station's executive director, Ranulfo Abreu Campos, told how the idea of setting up the venture in the city was born. “Reading an edition of the newspaper A Tarde at the end of 1986, more precisely in the column designed to publicize administrative acts of the federal government, I came across an announcement of announcement making two radio stations to Euclides da Cunha. Immediately I looked for some friends so that we could participate in the competition. Thus, then we started the process with some meetings, in fact about four meetings, with a group of 25 people. However, at the end of the creation process we limit ourselves only in ten partners. They were: Atayde José da Silva, Renilson Campos, José Nunes, Renato Campos and his wife Zezé Lima and the late Teago Ferreira de Carvalho, Luiz Agres [Lula] and Dr. Humberto Freire. After these years of existence today we have me as administrative director and majority partner, José Nunes and José Milton de Abreu, ”explained Ranulfo Campos.
Throughout these years, Radio Euclides da Cunha FM has contributed significantly to development, now reached by the municipality, leading to the homes of its listeners entertainment and local news, from the region, Brazil and the world.
With the purpose of increasingly improving its quality and power, only in the last twelve months were invested in the station about 100 thousand reais in services such as the acquisition of a transmitter of 5,000 watts, which significantly expanded its extension, reaching the coast of Sergipe and considerably increasing the number of Bahian municipalities that received the transmission of Euclides da Cunha FM .
The musical programming has been characterized as an option for the segmentation of current FM broadcasters, offering the public the best of all rhythms in the Brazilian musical landscape, from MPB to Pop, from Forró to Sertanejo and Brega to Samba.
