How to use the App

How do I call for help?
Simply press the Hilfe button when you feel unsafe. CrowdGuard will be informed immediately but you have 6 seconds to cancel the alarm.
What will happen then?
CrowdGuard automatically notifies all other users in 500 meter radius and your trusted contacts. If that is not possible, we will trigger a police call from your phone. In addition you have a quick dial button that calls the local police, even when you are in a foreign country.
How do I cancel the alarm?
By pressing stop and entering your passcode. You can define your passcode in the settings.
How do I help others?
You will receive a notification whenever someone nearby needs your help. You will see the location of the person in need and all other helpers.

Battery consumption
--------------------------------------------------
In order to keep the battery consumption very low, we only ask for your location if a community member requests help!
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
