The Wijchen Public Library has an extensive collection. However, sometimes you want to borrow something that is only available at another library. That is why there is now the brand new request service. This allows you to easily search and request information from your own library and from other libraries.
From now on you can borrow online from all libraries in the Netherlands. Then you have more than 35 million books, CDs, DVDs and music scores at your disposal!
This is how online borrowing via applications works:
• search the collection online; this can be done by title, author or subject.
• click on requests to request a found book (or other item).
• log in with the membership number on your library card.
• If we have the book in our collection, you will receive an email that it is ready for you.
• If the book is available from another library, Request will take care of the request for you for a fee of €3.00.
• you can usually collect the book within a week from the Wijchen library or the service points in Bergharen and Alverna
